John Edwards

John is a retired educator who has been involved with personal computers since 1980. He has used OS/2 since version 2 and has been an OS/2 advocate ever since. He has been actively involved with the Kitchener-Waterloo OS/2 Users Group for a number of years and is the current President of Warpstock Corporation.

Roy Hardy

Roy was employed by the State of California from 1955 to 1991 as a statistician and mathematician. Developed statistical and mathematical programs for the Employment Development Department on IBM mainframes and Prime minicomputers using assembly language, Fortran, and occasionally COBOL. Ran the computer center for the Research & Statistical Division from 1980 until 1991 when he retired.

Steven Levine

Steven has been active in the computing industry for over thirty-five years. He has held a variety of positions emphasizing custom product development and support in both engineering and commercial environments. Currently, he is President and Chief Technical Officer of Steven Levine and Associates, Inc. Steven became aware of OS/2 back in the 1.2 days when he worked with some of the early OS/2 based industrial automation system and has continued to use it regularly since then. Steven is active in a variety of eComStation and OS/2 projects including eCS 2.0 product development, the FM/2 file manager, and the MR/2 mail/news client among others.

Chuck McKinnis

Chuck retired from IBM in 1992 after 26 years as a systems engineer in large systems and communications. He had a private consulting practice and was the New Mexico Location Manager for Sirius Enterprise Systems Group, an IBM Premier Business Partner and largest IBM eServer reseller in the world. He is the author of the eCS Maintenance Tool, NICPAK, and a contirbutor to RexxAutoStart. He has been an OS/2 user since the beta days of 1989 and has programming experience with Rexx that goes back to the first release of Rexx by IBM.

Brendan Oakley

Jim O'Connor

Jim is a Canadian computer hobbyist, has been an OS/2 user since the Pope was an atlar boy, and is a longterm member of K/W Users group (Kitchener/Waterloo ). He retired as family physician after 40 years in solo rural practice. He developed a medical office billing system to meet his own needs using QNX and has 20 years of medical administrative work. Jim has 10 children and approximately 25 grandchildren. One of his sons, Kevin, is a Microsoft manager. He is John Edwards' friend and alter ego (for this occasion). He has been a team member of previous Warpstocks, but he has never made a presentation at Warpstock before.

Lewis Rosenthal

Lewis has been active professionally in the IT field since 1987. His experience with OS/2 dates back to version 2.0, which became the first OS/2 workstation OS rolled out in his accounting & systems integration firm of Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC.

One of Rosenthal & Rosenthal's subsidiary companies, Hautspot, LLC, designs, deploys, and manages wireless hotspots and hotzones. Hautspot has been active in the managed Wi-Fi arena since 2004. Rosenthal & Rosenthal also hosts the OS/2 Wireless Users mailing list.

Jan van Wijk

Jan has been working on OS/2 since 1988 and was hired by IBM to work on OS/2 1.0 Extended Edition for a few years. For a major Dutch bank, he worked on architecture, system integration and OS2 software development. In 2001 he founded Fsys Software to continue development of the DFSee utility and continues developing this milti-platform tool on OS/2 using C.

Neil Waldhauer

Neil is an OS/2 and eComStation consultant and an eCS reseller. He lives in Santa Cruz, California, and uses OS/2 and eComStation computers in the home office. He first programmed OS/2 version 1.2 on an IBM PS/2 model 80.

Andy Willis

Andy, influenced by his dad, started with PCs and the TRS-80 at age 10. He has been using OS/2 since the early 90's and currently works for IBM in software support. He is a contributor to VOICE tips, ODIN, Mozilla, and Uniaud, and serves as Vice President on the Board of Warpstock Corporation.

Gregg Young

Gregg is currently the chief of podiatry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also just happens to have been an OS/2 user since 2.1. He has recently learned C and now assists with the development of FM/2.
