I'm in NM and did get to Austin, Denver, SF, and Hershey, and the WarpTech in Phoenix. It's hard to plan if I don't know where or when the meeting is by April or so. Obviously there are a few more people back East, but most important to me is a congenial (not extravagant) setting and lots of time to plan.

The two generally most reasonable places to fly to are Orlando or Las Vegas. The smaller cities get costly. That said since Phoenix is Southwest's main Hub it is an inexpensive city to get to. Perhaps there is a travel agent who might know the lowest cost to get to city.
