How about Philadelphia Pennsylvania? Isn't there a OS/2 user group in that area ? PASUG? . "Formerly The Philadelphia Area OS/2 User Group". Perhaps Warpstock could be expanded to include other alternative operating systems? Question

Cool

Is PASUG still around to host one in 2011? Philadelphia PA is very close to me and I can drive there. Mr. Green

Tom, you should approach the guys in Philly about the possibility. They did it in 2000 (I missed that one, actually). They are a technically savvy group, and embrace a range of operating systems.

Over the years, it has been suggested that Warpstock merge with other events to become a more "alternative OS" gathering than centered around OS/2 and (now) eCS. As Warpstock's mission statement clearly defines:

Warpstock Corporation is an organization of volunteers dedicated to promoting education, information, and social opportunities to those persons interested in computer operating systems and related software through the production of at least an annual technology conference.

I have sent them an e-mail about hosting the 2011 Warpstock convention and how they could expand it to include other groups. Cool

I am a member of SCOA (Smart Car Owners of America). They are thinking of doing a get together of not just Smart cars but also other brands / models of vehicles (vehicles that one might not see a lot of). It will be in the Poconos. Cool
